QuikVue Vet Case Share-Grade 3/4 Corneal Ulcer in a Jack Russell

06/24/25

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr Vet Viroux.

A mid-stromal corneal ulcer unresponsive to medical treatment was observed. Ophthalmologic exam found no intrinsic cause. Surgical management included a keratectomy and grafting with dehydrated amniotic membrane (Vetrix EyeQ).

Despite slight membrane detachment at the 10-day check-up, healing at three months was very satisfactory.
