VisuScience Launches New VisuDoc Software Featuring Faster Data Synchronization

06/23/25

Wuxi, China – June 23, 2025 – VisuScience, a leader in ophthalmic imaging solutions, is proud to announce the official release of the new VisuDoc software. This latest version delivers a significant upgrade in data synchronization speed, streamlining clinical workflows and enhancing patient data management.

VisuDoc is a powerful imaging and patient case management platform, designed to integrate seamlessly with VisuScience devices such as MeiboVue and QuikVue. With the new version, images captured by MeiboVue can be synchronized to PC instantly, enabling clinicians to manage and access patient data with unprecedented efficiency.

“Our goal with this update was to optimize performance and simplify the user experience for eye care professionals,” said the Product Director at VisuScience. “The improved synchronization speed greatly reduces waiting time and allows doctors to focus more on patient care.”

Once images from MeiboVue are synced to the PC via VisuDoc, they can be quickly exported to the desktop in standard formats — allowing for seamless upload into EMR/EHR systems. This ensures that clinicians can easily integrate meibography results into each patient's digital medical record, enhancing documentation and continuity of care.

How to Access?

The new VisuDoc software is exclusively available to VisuScience product users.

After multimodal dry-eye care, symptoms may improve — but clinicians still need to know whether severe meibomian gland dropout is stable or progressing. MeiboVue supports portable baseline and follow-up meibography in pre-test or chairside flow. One de-identified case shows before/after comparison alongside qualified clinical findings.
